Learners really demonstrated just how much they care by wearing WBTC RESPECT wristbands launched earlier this year. Stocks dwindled across anti-bullying week with over 200 being worn by learners, staff and employers.
It was a really simple way of visually showing you support the cause and respect one another. "Wristbands are issued at Induction to all learners and it's very heartening to see them worn with pride" said Tammera Easterling, Operations Director.
WBTC were in good company this year as the Rt Hon Ed Balls MP, Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Familes, launched Anti-Bullying Week which is run by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, who this year focused on 'Bullying in the Commuunity' with the message ' Safer together, Safer wherever', to remind us that we all have a role to play in keeping children and young people safe wherever they are .... especially with WBTC, thank you. |
