Our MD, Matt Garvey gives an update on the return to study for learners from September 2020. Your safety is first and foremost and these changes will help to keep you and our staff safe.
For apprentices, both existing and new, all learning will remain online until the end of 2020. There are some exceptions in the practical trades where workshop-based provision will continue to be delivered at our partner colleges.
For 16 – 19 year olds on full-time programmes and traineeships, workshop and classroom-based provision will recommence from September. Learners will be in smaller groups and bubbles designed to minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19 while studying. Traineeship placements will recommence from September, but only with employers who feel they are able to safely support our learners.
We hope to recommence classroom-based provision for everyone from 2021, depending upon the Government advice at that time.
