Congratulations to Bracknell Leisure Centre who have been awarded the West Berkshire Training Consortium ‘Certificate of Excellence for 2010. The certificate recognises employers who are committed to staff training and development and the Certificate of Excellence is the highest accolade that an employer can receive in the Investment in Training Awards

Phil Dodds the Centre Manager at Bracknell Leisure Centre said “We have thousands of happy customers every year who come to Bracknell Leisure Centre to get fit, stay healthy and socialise. They all expect the highest standard of customer service from our staff so we continually invest is staff training and development. Apprenticeships through West Berkshire Training Consortium are one of the ways we can offer staff on-going training. We have delivered Apprenticeships and NVQs through WBTC to over 20 of our employees and in each case we have been very pleased by the service. An Apprenticeship is amazing value for us thanks to the funding that WBTC access on our behalf. They use the funding to provide a fantastic service and all of our staff value the relationship that we have with WBTC. We aim to go on working with WBTC to provide Apprenticeships to our staff so that we can continue to develop and enhance our service.”
